The Solar Farmers
A bit of background on 8760 Solar
The company was founded by two brothers (Ryan & Jason) who grew up as farmers. Their goal was to help farmers to use solar projects to save on taxes, control energy costs and create a new income stream for their clients. Coran & Leanne (a husband & wife team) liked the mission and the business so much that they invested in the company and partnered with them. Together we are helping the team grow so we can serve more farmers across the San Luis Valley region, Baca County and Yama County areas.
Meet Jason & Ryan

“We grew up farming crops and raising cattle, so we understand the challenges and excitement of being a farmer, rancher, or dairyman. The farm is still home for us and we often find our way back into a tractor.”
After farming, Jason managed and developed industrial sized Solar Farms. His expertise in Solar Re-Power as well as asset and development management, has gathered attention and he is invited annually to Solar Conventions as a guest speaker. Ryan began working on large scale solar projects and transitioned to focus on farms, ranches, and dairy operations. With farming as part of his life, it was a simple transition and allows him to continue to spend time on farms.

With over a gigawatt of combined solar experience, we have the knowledge and expertise to provide all the benefits of solar to our growers. By combining our two passions, each project is exciting for us and we view each project as our own. 8760 Solar was officially launched in 2019 when Jason and Ryan brought their years of experience, dedication and resources together to serve the Agriculture Solar market. Expanding the team in 2023 has been an exciting time for the team, and we can’t wait to work with more farms throughout Colorado.
Why We're Different
Licensed & Insured
All of our contractors are properly licensed and insured and go through a very rigorous screening process in order to qualify as one of our installers.
NABCEP Certified
Our contractors and installers are required to be NABCEP certified, along with a master electrician license, and any other required licenses that equipment manufactures may require.
Equipment Warranty
We offer a 5 year workmanship warranty. We only use tier 1 products to provide the top quality to our customers. Our Solar Panels come with a 25 year warranty, and will generate efficient energy for 35-40+ years.
Honest
We are honest, transparent, and reliable. We educate our customers and continue our relationship after the installation.
